  Massive markets are a must see in Riga  - The food markets located in the old Zeppelin hangers are a must see when visiting Riga. There are fruit stands on the outside and five hangers full of stalls... read more inside. We bought some berries and pastries for breakfast, but were unable to get any of the smoked meat, fish or sausages except for deli meat for sandwiches for our bus trip. I liked to just amble around and look at all the food items common in Riga that we don’t have access to in the U.S.

  The Best Market I’ve been at  - The market consists of 5 halls and it took us about 3-4 hours to go around and see all the goods and food there. We’ve had lunch in the food... read more court. It's a large... read more area over multiple sheds, each have a great range of things being sold, catering for mainly locals you get great prices and variety, I had lunch here most days and the choices were very good.

Note that it's not just inside but outside stalls, also great for daily fruit and veggies!!
